@richteatv Thank you, Rich. I binged through all of them today. A lot of hard work went into them. I'm thinking that being able to have the option to watch film fests from the comfort of our homes could broaden the appeal of being involved from around the world as online interaction refines itself and becomes a norm. Covid film residue.

@karl-niemiec Glad you came and watched all the films, Karl. Getting films made is half the picture. Pun intended. 😉 Hope you make it tomorrow. Glad you enjoyed the kick off video!
At the center of everything we experience is a story. Stories are always evolving. The only beginning and end to a story is the one that is told or the one we perceive.
Hello there everyone! I’m a filmmaker who lives in Cuba. I’m not participating right now in the Festival but next year I will, that’s for a fact! I just wanted to say congrats to you all for being part of the IMFF. You use mobile phones for making movies, so you are awesome! I wish you all good luck for tomorrow. But hey, who needs that? You already made it, right? Stay safe and please, keep making films!
Hi Al! Word!
Mobile filmmakers are incredible. Glad to hear the mobile filmmaking vibe is rubbing off on you! Looking forward to not one but many mobile films from you! See you tomorrow! 😊📱🎬💫

It's really great that you have taken it on board and certainly work on your 5 min film but continue to develop films in the long format.
Shorts or short format are great in themselves, there are lots of festivals that are solely dedicated to this form especially in France and London where Cannes film festival and Show me you're shorts in London are specifically designed as calling cards, business cards for the long format (feature film), production companies and Studio's to pick up new talent like yourself.
I'd always advise to work towards long format films. That use sound and images over words.
Another very important aspect of our community is to share it with all your film making friends and social media buddies.
The way forward for our mobile sector is to keep producing media and to work together as a community.
So, please please please spread the word about the International Mobile Film Festival Awards in San Diego.

I'm so, glad that you feel that way, but the only way to get this to work, (that's mobile film making), is to work together as a community and drive the message forward to our friends, family, colleagues and wider community to join the International Mobile Film Festival Awards in San Diego and submit their own stories.
As we build our community we need people like yourself to become mobile film evangelists and spread the word and help our mobile filmmaking community grow.
Our films will go on to inspire generations of people to pick their phone out of their pocket and make stories that are relevant to them. And then they will have the opportunity like yourself to show them to a, growing community like ours.
My goal is to see This "Mobile Stories" that Susy has created become the No1 venue for mobile film distribution in the world.
Will you help me?
Will you spread the word?
"Don't wait, to create"

@AlGarcia @susy
It is great to have you on board and visiting the site on this prestigious weekend.
And I don't mean that to sound corny.
What Susy has created here is the genesis of the global Mobile Film making community.
And what we must do is spread that word to our friends and family so that they can be apart of this experience too.
There was an old saying about writers,
"if you throw a stone blindly out of a 10th story window, you're bound to hit a writer"
That's because all, of us have a story inside of us. Yet up to now the cheapest format was to write a book, a, diary or a letter, that very few if anyone would read unless you were phenomenally lucky.
Those days are gone and here in your pocket is the solution to your story telling and the International Mobile Film Festival Awards in San Diego is your audience.
Please Al make your film, but more than, that tell your friends and become a mobile film making warrior.
That way we can build our community here and distribute our mobile films to the ends of the earth.
Thanks for your support
