Any ideas on where or who to send request to for an internship?

How do I find film companies that support experimental work?

Experimental is a great place to be because you can do anything. But for the audience to understand it there needs to be some form of structure and most importantly story. That doesn't mean words or narrative it can be silent bar picture and sound, yet it needs to start in one place and end in another. Just so you're audience feel like they have gone on a journey. I saw a brilliant experimental film where the character was a bubble in a pint of beer. By placing the mobile in a waterproof bag they were able to film inside a glass of beer. And none of the narrative could be heard because it all sounded like it does underwater.

As far as structure is concerned imagine a film as a coffee mug. The mug can hold coffee, water, nuts, pennies, trail mix, pens, just about anything you want to put into it.

The story is always different, but the mug, always stays the same. Beginning middle end.
